This policy explains what personal information Philippine Ube ("we," "us," "our") collects through philippineube.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at legal@philippineube.com and we'll answer directly.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a smaller amount collected automatically.

Information you provide

Quote and wholesale enquiries: company name, contact name, email, phone, country, order volume, and any message you include.
Contact and interest forms: name, email, and the details of your enquiry.
Newsletter signup: your email address.
Tatak Ube™ license applications: business details and product information needed to review and issue a license.
Farmer partner applications: contact details, farm information, and any photos you upload.
Buyer accounts: if you create an account, your email and password (handled by our authentication provider, not stored by us in plain text).
Store orders: if you buy merchandise, your name, email, shipping address, and order details. Card payment details are entered directly into Stripe's checkout and never pass through our own servers.

Information collected automatically

On our production site we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand site traffic and measure the performance of our marketing. These set cookies and collect standard technical data such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. We do not currently run a cookie consent banner; if you'd prefer not to be tracked this way, most browsers let you block third-party cookies or use an ad blocker.

Why we use it

To respond to quote requests, enquiries, and license or farmer partner applications.
To process and fulfil store orders, including shipping.
To send the newsletter you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
To measure how people use the site and to run and evaluate our advertising, via Google Analytics and Meta Pixel.
To operate buyer and admin accounts securely.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it beyond what's needed to do the things above.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, each of whom only receives what they need to do their job:

Supabase — our database, authentication, file storage, and backend functions.
Stripe — payment processing for store orders. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see or store full card numbers.
Printful — order fulfilment and shipping for merchandise.
Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) — site analytics and advertising measurement.

These providers may process data outside the Philippines, including in the United States and the European Union, under their own privacy and security terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and application data for as long as it's useful to our relationship with you, and account data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time; see "Your rights" below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it (including analytics and advertising). This includes rights under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, among other regional laws. To exercise any of these, email legal@philippineube.com. We'll respond as promptly as we can.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us, including relying on the security practices of our providers (Supabase, Stripe). No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection.

Children

Philippine Ube is a B2B and consumer goods site not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we make a material change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
