A listing card is your own description of your own goods. It is not certification and does not verify what is in a product. The card says so on its face.
Why price per kilo is the only fair comparison
Ube gets sold in whatever unit suits the seller: sacks, kilos, 250g pouches, 100g sachets. A pouch at PHP 250 sounds cheaper than a kilo at PHP 900 until you notice the pouch works out at PHP 1,000 per kilo. Most disagreements about ube pricing in buy and sell groups are not disagreements at all, they are two people quoting different units.
Quoting your price per kilo, whatever pack you actually sell, makes your offer comparable and makes you easier to deal with. For what growers are actually paid, see the farmgate price data.
Frequently asked questions
How do I work out the price per kilo of ube powder sold in pouches?
Divide the pack price by the pack weight in kilos. A 250g pouch at PHP 250 is PHP 1,000 per kilo, because there are four 250g pouches in a kilo. This tool does that conversion for you, which is the only way to compare a pouch price against a sack price honestly.
What should an ube sale post include?
The details a serious buyer needs before messaging: what form the ube is in (fresh tuber, powder, halaya, frozen or planting material), the variety if known, quantity available, the province it is coming from, when it is available, the price or a clear note that price is on request, and how to reach you. Posts missing quantity and location get the most time-wasting replies.
Is a listing card the same as ube certification?
No. A listing card is a seller's own description of their own goods, and it carries a note on its face saying exactly that. Certification is a separate thing: an independent scheme testing a product and issuing a license number a buyer can check. Never treat a self-made card, from this tool or any other, as proof of what is in a product.
Is this tool free?
Yes. There is no signup, nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored: the card is drawn in your own browser and shared straight from your phone or downloaded to your computer.
