Graded Ube. Traced to the Farm.
Like ceremonial and culinary matcha, our ube is graded by quality, origin precision, and intended use. Every product is traceable to its source farm across the Philippines.
Our Grading System
Not all ube is equal. We grade ours so you know exactly what you are getting.
Every grade is produced to the Tatak Ube certification standard, so buyers can verify origin, composition, and license status for the pack in front of them.

Heritage Reserve
Our finest. Made from the heirloom Kinampay cultivar or other prized single varieties, processed to protect its color and aroma. Single-farm traceable, peak-season harvested, Grade A tubers only. Reserved for artisan bakeries, premium ice cream, fine dining, and anyone who demands the absolute best ube available.
Single-variety sourcing. Peak season. Single farm.
Ani
The harvest grade. Ani means harvest in Tagalog, and this is the yield of every season. Farm-traceable, year-round availability, consistent quality batch after batch. Built for volume production: restaurant kitchens, commercial bakeries, food manufacturing.
Built for professional kitchens at scale
Why We Grade Our Ube
Grading a root crop this carefully is a deliberate choice. It is not about being particular. It is about being strategic.
Matcha has grades. Coffee has grades. Wine has appellations. Olive oil has classifications. Ube does not have to become any of them to succeed, but each one proves the same point: a country can own a category on its own terms. Without grading, every product becomes a commodity: cheap, undifferentiated, interchangeable. And when a product becomes a commodity, the farmers who grow it lose all pricing power.
That is exactly what is happening to ube. The global ube trend is worth billions, but Filipino farmers see almost none of that value. Their ube is bought at commodity prices, mixed, relabeled, and sold at premium prices by brands that have no connection to the Philippines.
Grading changes that. When we differentiate Heritage Reserve from Ani, we are not being pretentious. We are creating a quality framework that international buyers can trust, the way buyers already trust grades in other categories. Ube stands on its own terms, with its own varieties and its own story. And that trust creates premium pricing that flows back to the farms, back to the families who have been growing ube for generations.
This is not about being fancy. This is about building an industry that Filipinos own.
